Mentor Interviews
Each student, throughout the course of their internship, is expected to conduct an interview with their mentor(s) in order to learn more about them and the process of obtaining whatever position they may be in. This is a bit trickier for me because I am working with not one, but four mentors: Sandy, Amadee, Deb, and Abby. I work with each mentor on different aspects of my internship, but Sandy is my primary mentor. That is why I would like to interview her first, and then space the rest of my interviews out throughout the course of this next week. Once each interview has conducted, it will be saved as a PDF and uploaded to this page!
Sandy Irwin
Sandy is my primary mentor, and is the assistant director to the library. She's so much fun to work with and is the person I most needed to interview. If you would like to read her interview, please click here.
Amadee Ricketts
Amadee is just about one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, which is why it's perfect that she works quite a bit with Youth Services! I work with her mostly on PR and expanding the youth poetry collections. If you'd like to read her interview, click here.
Abby Lambert
Abby is the woman who I work with concerning the poetry collections found here at the library, which I'll be choosing new books to help expand during my internships. She's really great, and if you'd like to check out her interview, please click here.
Deb Denious
Deb is the woman behind the library's IT! I work with her when I'm designing the competition website, and she's always very nice and helps me out a lot. If you'd like to read her interview, please click here.
